| Aah
spring is upon us and newness is in the air! It’s
time for spring cleaning. Time to clean out our home and
rid ourselves of items that no longer serve us. It’s
also time to spring clean negative thought patterns and
emotional baggage. |
|
If
it adds no value and/or does not add value to our lives,
it is time to let it go. It’s time to spring into
action and use the magical pruning power of love.
In
our spring cleaning efforts it is time to use one powerful
cleanser and that is the power of forgiveness.
|
|
Forgiveness
is not for the other person, but it is for us and about
us. Not only do we have to learn to forgive others but
we have to learn to forgive ourselves—God already
has. Remember: The crucifixion is optional but the resurrection
is guaranteed. Happy Spring Cleaning! |

Looking for
Parking In All The Wrong Places?
The Lancaster
Metaphysical Chapel strives to be a good community partner as well
as a good neighbor.
Recently, it
has come to the Board’s attention that our neighbors are frustrated
by the lack of available parking on Sunday mornings. As a result,
we have been asked to encourage our members to park in the Zephyr
Aluminum Company parking lot on Sunday mornings.
Zephyr has
been gracious enough to allow our members to park there. It is just
a short walk to the Chapel from the parking lot.
So, we ask that
you help us maintain our good neighbor status.

Annual Psychic Fair
The Lancaster Metaphysical
Chapel hosts two semi-annual psychic fairs each year. The date of
the spring fair is Saturday, April 5, 2008. The psychic fair runs
from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
Attendees get to choose
from a variety of talented readers including tarotologists, astrologers
and mediums. The psychic fair also offers the opportunity to indulge
in a chair massage as well as.
All readings, chair massages,
etc. are $20 per twenty (20) minute session. All proceeds benefit
the Lancaster Metaphysical Chapel. The kitchen will also be open
for food purchases.
We hope to see you and
a friend or two on the 5th.

Annual
Meeting Time
|
The
Lancaster Metaphysical Chapel Annual Meeting will be
held on Sunday March 9th immediately following the worship
service. All members are encouraged to attend.
|
|
If you are not a member and would like to be, it is
never too late.
An
individual membership is $15 and a family membership
is $25 for the year. .
|
|
If
the membership fee is daunting for you, please do not
allow that to deter you from becoming a member. Please
see Rev. Molly Cortright for options..

Stars
of Fantasy
|
Mark
your calendars. The Stars of Fantasy Spring Show is
coming on May 10th at 8:00 PM. Stars is a non-profit
group comprised of professional and non-professional
singers,
|
|
musicians
and comedians. Some members are chapel members. Each
year the group performs to 2 hour shows—one in
the spring and one in December.

|
Proceeds
from the spring show benefit a local charity and proceeds
from the holiday show benefit the Chapel. Please come
out and support the charities as well as other chapel
members.

Did
you know that we have a Reiki group that meets every
other Monday at 7:00 PM? Did you know that we have healing
at the front of the chapel every Sunday morning at 10:30?
Did you know that we are Having a healing service on
Saturday March 1st at 1:00? We believe in healing and
it can happen for you if you have faith.

Please
feel free to participate in any of our offerings at
any time.
Although
not specifically geared towards healing, a Course in
Miracles study group meets at the Chapel every Sunday
morning at 9:30.
We welcome visitors. If you would like more information
about any of the classes, groups, services, etc., please
feel free to contact the Chapel.

Our Organization
The Lancaster
Metaphysical Chapel was founded in 1986 by the Rev. Grace
Lehman. The Lancaster Metaphysical Chapel is a member of the
United Metaphysical Churches.
The Chapel
is a dynamic place where persons of all faiths and creeds
are welcomed and accepted.
The Chapel
is governed by a Board of Trustees. We have a senior minister
and two associate ministers.
We frequently
have guest speakers from different faiths and paths as well
as speakers from sister chapels. Please feel free to visit.
Visitors are welcome and expected!
